The voter says... today I self identify as a republican. I'm pro abortion, I'm a socialist who wants single payer healthcare, I want all my college tuition refunded to me, and I want our country to pay reparations for slavery injustice.... but TODAY I self identify as a republican... I'm just dying to vote for King Trumpy. I'm one of those new people Trumpy is bringing to the party.... :)
Right???
Your statement of:
“Letting people tell you what primary they want to vote in.”
Could be re-written as:
“Letting people vote for whomever they may please”.
We tend to vote for “people”, here, not for “parties”.
I’m still amazed at so many people who want to give up states rights in order to benefit their candidate.
I hate to think what shape Texas would be in if we didn’t have States rights.
How do they handle states that have no voting—no votes??? Poll respondents are not thinking. People and low information voters can change their position every day. Polls these days are not all that accurate anyway.
