EXCLUSIVE — Trump Campaign: Cruz Staged ‘Attack’ In Georgia To Steal Delegates…

The Donald Trump campaign is accusing the Sen. Ted Cruz campaign of staging a coordinated attack in Georgia that led to pro-Trump delegate candidates being challenged and deposed in every corner of the state, which Trump had won resoundingly in the primary.
Private backroom nominations committees producing recommended slates, county delegations voting in blocs, floor motions made targeting our supporters, Trump national delegate director Brian Jack claimed, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. This is the machine politics we read about in school, not the grassroots activism our campaign encourages.
Trump supporters walked out of the district convention in Buford Saturday after a Cruz-Sen. Marco Rubio alliance bumped all of the potential Trump delegates off that districts slate. But the chaos in Buford happened everywhere at Saturdays district conventions, with Cruz supporters isolating and targeting pro-Trump delegate candidates in order to reverse Georgias votes on a potential second ballot at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

I don’t care who you are for or how you choose to support your candidate, but an unwarranted personal attack on another poster should be out of bounds.
I hope you will take a few breaths and come back and apologize to 2nd Division Vet.

Cruz was the most disliked Republican in Washington. He may end up as the most disliked in the nation.

"Cant run a campaign, cant run a country." Oh, 2ndDivTed, when will you see Trump's playing them like violins? Getting called a whiner by serial posters like you is a small price, and in fact, great advertising.
Again, thanks for providing these threads where Trump candidacy supports can gather in fellowship to celebrate the failure of the desperate and unethical tactics of our opponent, the establishment Republicans and Ted Cruz, but I repeat myself.

The sickness displayed here by you and Harley is revealing of an appalling ugliness of character. The GOD I worship?
The God I worship would never allow any earth bound human the power to harm my family in the ways that politicians today have done. Politicians today will do and say whatever it takes to get elected so THEY can continue destroying what I love, completely.
If you find my demeanor as so disgusting, just remember, your opinions mean nothing to me because I'm fighting for my families future survival and will do what I have to do to protect their future.
Save your pontifications for those that give a big rat's a$$.

Altura has appointed herself Political Courtesy Warrior on pro establishment Republican threads and will be attending the Kim Jung Il school of social etiquette in November when it’s announced that her first choice University of Delegate Poaching is closing it’s doors.

"Can't run a campaign, Can't run a country" When you're candidate is down 15 points nationally, selling himself like a whore to the GOP, and in danger of sinking below Kasich, specifically in part by following exactly the strategy you are referring to as 'running a campaign' ... that comment has entered deep into political comedy territory.

"Polls mean Jack****. Surely youve learned at least that by now." To the extent that they deeply, for political reasons, underestimate the gap between Cruz and Trump, yes, we can agree on that.

“Cant run a campaign, cant run a country.”
That’s the first thing that came to my mind.
Trump supporters try to overlook Trump’s lack of experience by saying, yeah but, as a businessman he will know what kind of advisors to pick.
Trump doesn’t even know how to pick advisors to run his campaign!

Private backroom nominations committees producing recommended slates, county delegations voting in blocs, floor motions made targeting our supporters,
Yes, we had a recommended slate in the 3rd district. The process took over 3 hours AFTER the credentials committee was done processing the delegates for the convention. There was plenty of spirited discussion from all sides. In addition to the recommended slate two other slates were presented from the floor. No slate was selected until a majority of the convention voted for a slate. The biggest controversy was that the nominating committee was asking who the would-be delegate would support if committed, and whom if not committed. Our district actually had a delegate who REFUSED to vote last time because he intended to vote for Ron Paul, who was not entered due to the Rule 40B. That same fellow is part of district leadership today, and his sister was on the recommended slate, and is well regarded by most.
There were five slates (with lots of overlap) for the national convention. Some counties did vote in blocs, but not all or even most. This actually happened more on the Alternates slate because people were voting as much for their friends to get to go as much as anything else.
It wasn't hard to attend the county convention to be a delegate to the district convention. Fee for the county convention was $20 or some such. Our county convention was composed of about 50 people in a hotel conference room, with a non-voting area open to the general public. Show up at the county convention and if you are early in line, you get to be a district delegate. If too many want to be a delegate you can be an alternate, and might well get in if delegates don't show up. Some counties had only a small fraction of their delegates show up, though most were full. Other delegates will be selected at the state convention in Augusta, and that IS an expense and hassle because Georgia is a big state and the convention is two days long. The folks in Valdosta will have a heck of a drive.
Other than a flier identifying Cruz delegates, there was no arm twisting along those lines that I observed. WIth just shy of 300 delegates in front of the ropes, it was easy to keep an eye on the action, as I was in the back row.
The only rule change that was made was to go by slate, rather than individual. I voted against that. Most who voted for it were doing so in the interest of saving time.
