The vindictive nature of the posts at Free Republic has gotten darker and darker with the Trump team postings. This is indicative of the Trump spiteful leadership.

There is a strong nihilistic edge to the Trumpist crowd. Some are actually more committed to demolishing the Republican party than to Trump winning. in fact, they want Trump to fail -- so they can vote Democrat and see the GOP destroyed.

It's gone beyond anger, it's morphed into hatred.

Huh?

I have never heard a single Trump supporter say such a thing.

Strangely, members of the GOPe HAVE been quoted as saying if Trump is the nominee, they WILL vote for Hillary.

Could you provide evidence of Trump supporters purposely desiring to vote democrat? Destruction of GOP over Trump winning? Thanks.

Tell me five things the GOP has done in the past 15 years to advance conservatism? If Graham, Bush, McCain, McConnel, and the rest would have spent a tenth of the energy fighting Obama as they did fighting the Tea Party Trump would not be in this race.

“...the Trumpist crowd. Some are actually more committed to demolishing the Republican party...”

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The GOP needs to be destroyed.

That is the most stupid post I have ever seen.

It is Cruz who is destroying the GOP for good.

Desperation from Cruzbots smacks of delusional thinking.

I fail to see the problem with this. The current Republican party is part of the DC establishment and Uniparty. We NEED an opposition party to all the corruption going on in DC.

It's people like you that fail to see the real problems this country faces. Having a TRUE opposition party will go a long ways in trying to restore this Constitutional Republic.

Gaffer posted this about the GOPe leadership:

I knew that GOP leadership, especially in Congress, has been duplicitous, appeasing - cowardly if I were to try and put a single word on it, but in my wildest dreams or drunken stupor

I’d never have believed that GOP could be best likened to Union Leadership. But there it is, there they are, in all their union glory doing what they damned well want.

At least the Democrats are honest about their intent.

The Republican Party has proven itself only interested in maintaining power.

They have supported every single initiative that Obama has presented.

They have abdicated every constitutional power, have abjured every principle of ethical governance, and have abandoned even the pretext of representing their constituencies.

They have openly attacked their own members and conspired to destroy conservative candidates.

They have regularly lied, have committed criminal acts, have refused to prosecute such acts, regardless of party or law.

Ultimately, they have established a privileged class in direct opposition to the very Constitution that they swore to uphold.

That GOP?

Sometimes hatred is warranted.

What an odd fantasy you have.

Next time you might want to add the disclaimer; in my opinion

Attack attack attack, that’s all I ever see from you and your posts
