I have never hated president bush though I often felt pressure to do so here at FR

I do think cruz is much more conservative than President Bush-— I like that.

But I can see shades of gray on conservatism and I take as much as I can get in whatever political situation I see.

That is why I am bewildered that at this early juncture there seems to be some taboo in pointing out that Trump is not very conservative.

Trump is as "conservative" as most Americans think a conservative is. Townhall had a piece written 9 years ago that sums up fairly well the differences between a Liberal and a Conservative. Trump seems to come pretty close.
