Trump supporters are overly optimistic about his chance of winning.

Trump is optimistic. We who are following him, emulate his cheerful and positive outlook. He has faced every adversity down (media, corrupt GOPe, big money ad campaigns against him, etc., etc.).

Like all good entities (companies, etc.), the attitude of the entity almost always emulates the attitude at the top. No exception here.

Indeed. I look forward to his lifting the country out of the deep morass that Obama has thrown us into. Positive people get good things done!

Optimism is good. It needs to be grounded in realism. A good CEO does not cook the books or inflate projections to unrealistic expectations of the investors.

I have heard Trump twice, with my own ears, leave open the possibility of a Cruz VP spot. This is very wise of him. He may not give the spot to Cruz, but it shows he is willing to be pragmatic and practical about the reality of the obstacles he faces. His supporters would do well to emulate that aspect of his leadership as well as his optimism.
