I see nothing fair about the consumer shouldering the total tax burden. I am not a bleeding heart type, but the reality is, the less someone makes the more this hurts them. And business pays no tax at all. That just doesn’t seem right.

I don't. I want objective fairness. Progressive feelings are always in my wallet.

And business pays no tax at all. That just doesnt seem right. Do you not realize that, as it is, the consumer shoulders the entire tax burden? Businesses don't pay taxes, they collect taxes. They price their product to cover the taxes they must submit.
In the end, the consumer must shoulder the total tax burden.
