Democratic strategist Harlan Hill told Neil Cavuto today that up to 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters will cross over to Donald Trump if Bernie is eliminated.
Harlan Hill: Almost 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters say they will not support Hillary Clinton in the general election. And I expect that number to grow.
Neil Cavuto: Alright, will where will they go?
Harlan Hill: Well, I think they will either stay home or they will cross over.
Neil Cavuto: Who will they cross over to?
Harlan Hill: Donald Trump. Thats it. Theyre not going to vote for Ted Cruz
I think that there is common ground that if Donald Trump plays his cards right he could appeal to a lot of Democrats.

“Kick your ass, revenge, retribution, retaliation, payback, requital, reprisal, satisfaction, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth etc.”
That might be a good plan, depending on the specific policy proposals that would be implemented. Does it include reducing the size of government?
I assume you’ve already checked on deadlines to register. Don’t get caught by surprise and find out it’s too late to register. (Whomever you choose to vote for.)
I agree with you about super delegates.
I saw that sign. WTF is it supposed to mean? DH and I couldn’t make sense of it.
I think an independent Trump/Bernie ticket might just win in November.
I doubt anyone is “ok” with it, but the #NeverTrump crowd has already made it clear that’s what they intend to do. They would rather have Hillary in the White House than Trump, because Trump isn’t “perfect.” So we need to make up votes somewhere, and I’m fine with those votes coming from Bernie supporters. Bernie supporters are rabid. If they jump on the Trump Train, I’m all for it. As long as we get a Republican in the White House, then we get the Supreme Court judges. That’s the point. Some of us haven’t lost sight of that.
Cruz is not a uniter. Cruz can’t beat Hillary. Full stop.
“Really, though, lots of Sanders supporters arent terribly logical and who knows what theyll do?”
Good point. They have to be low-information voters or they wouldn’t support that Hugo Chavez wannabe in the first place.
No 3rd party can win in the general because its rigged by the 2 party system to exclude any challenges to their power base.
Consider the statistical impossibility of the protest vote remaining in the single digits for decades...
“Utter rebellion. RESISTANCE. Period.”
Well, you can have “outsiders” who want “rebellion” and “resistance” from the left, center or right. The difference is where you’re going to end up after they implement their policies.
BINGO!
Yes, I imagine it would since Trump has repeatedly said were being ripped off, looted and robbed from top to bottom by waste and fraud. Pay attention.
I saw someone on TV recently who said Sanders, in DC, was really angry, grumpy, and downright rude to anyone who is a Republican.
Thats probably the most damning statement one could make about Trump and his policies, that they would attract the same demographic that is attracted to socialism.

Maybe they are just noise sensitive and cannot abide Shillary’s schreeches and sCruz’s braying lecturing.
Trump and Sanders are the only ones who have decent voice tones.
And yet, when she lost the Republican primary in Alaska, Lisa Murkowski won the 2010 Senate election as a write-in candidate.
Then again, she WAS the Establishment.
What would Sanderss supporters see in Trump that would make them vote for him?

A decent speaking voice.
What has the current or past GOP done for you?
“subjects like abortion and gay marriage”
Some of us are unwilling to compromise on some key issues, that is true. If we don’t protect life in the womb and defend marriage, the moral degradation—already bad—will have future generations in a moral cesspool.
Ask that poster how what a damning statement it would be for Cruz and his policies when Trump KO’s Cruz and the insider Republicans cross over to vote for Hillary Clinton.
“anti-faux trade
“and I bet a lot of them are sick of being over the head with the gender card by the HRC fangirls”
You may be right about that, thoughtomator.
Oh, I am telling you, once Bernie is eliminated, a LOT of his supporters will turn on Hillary in a bigger way than even now. They may even riot at the convention or in front of it.
As far as SOME of them voting Trump, yeah, I think so. Not many, most will just be rioting and stuff, but some will hate Hillary so much they will vote Trump just to spit in the face of the DNC. I believe it.
