This is why I no longer watch any of these late night shows, all they do is preach to the choir of a congregation I don't belong to, plus they're lame.

If I'm up late at night and can't sleep (not uncommon), I'll watch a DVD of the old Hee-Haw show. Loved it back then, love it now.

And for those who are like-minded, Time-Life has just issued a large collection of the show. It's pricey, but I'm thinking of picking it up.

I watch the old game show network, they run What's My Line, To Tell The Truth and I've Got A Secret, among others. It's nice to take a trip back to civility, maybe a bit of innocence and to hear people say extraordinary things(by today's standards) like goodnight and God Bless! Lord how I miss Red Skelton!
