Are we allowed to talk about this virus spreading through homosexual sex???

I know that throughout all discussions about AIDS, we have been told by the liberals that it is not a gay disease, and should not be discussed as if homosexuals are more at risk.

In the very beginning of the AIDS epidemic, AIDS was known by the acronym GRID, in which the G stood for Gay. Activists pressured the medical community to change the name to AIDS, so that the disease would not be associated with gay behavior.

You are absolutely correct about the history of GRID or FIDS (F(ag)injected death syndrome.) I asked my doc about what he knew circa 1990 and basically he told me that as a white hetero male, my chances of getting it were remote. He was Chinese BTW and said his chances were even lower. He cautioned his comment was between us due to his “protocols” aka PC overlords. He added the official line is equally for everyone.

Dilbert San Diego :" Are we allowed to talk about this virus spreading through homosexual sex???"

This medical issue points to the possibility of the virus being transmitted via homosexual as well as heterosexual bodily fluids transmitting the virus.
We learned just two years ago that another virus ( Ebola) could similarly be transmitted by the sexual act, with an exchange of bodily fluids,
and that the Ebola virus was transmissible for up to six months, having successfully remained in the sexual gonads for that length of time .
I use the term "possibility" as it also possible that one contracted Zika via mosquito, and his companion might have also been bitten by the same mosquito .
While it is technically possible for this transmission to have happened this way, it is unlikely.
So little is known about Zika that I don't know whether Zika remains in the gonads has even yet been explored, as had been learned with the Ebola virus .
There is so much more to be learned about Zika .
