Kasich: 'I am going to leave Cleveland as the nominee’
The Hill ^ | 4/14/16 | Mark Hensch

Posted on 04/15/2016 1:59:21 AM PDT by markomalley

Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) on Thursday said that he would become the GOP presidential nominee after a contested Republican National Convention.

“I am going to leave Cleveland as the nominee,” he said during the annual New York State GOP gala in New York City.

“Whether you believe it or not, it’s going to happen,” Kasich added. "We are going to go to a convention. This is not about the nomination. This is about who can win the White House after defeating Hillary Clinton.” Kasich said that either Clinton or Bernie Sanders would escalate the national debt if elected president.

“We have $19 trillion in debt,” he said. "When the debt goes up, your opportunities to get a job go down. By the time they’re done giving away all the free stuff, the debt will be up to $30 trillion and no one will be able to get a job. This is why we have to stop them.”

Kasich added that GOP voters should reject Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, because they are too unlikable.

“Do you know what will happen if we nominate people who have high negatives and can’t beat Hillary?” he asked. "There’s a very good chance your Senate majority leader becomes your Senate minority leader.

“We risk losing everything from the White House to the state house to the court house if we don’t promote a positive, uplifting message. It’s not pie in the sky," he said.

vote for Trump and Americas destruction.
I wonder how Trump is gonna whine his way out of that one. I don’t think the media will allow his, “It’s Obama’s fault.” Poor Donald won’t have anyone to blame

Kasich: 'I am going to leave Cleveland as the nominee’

And Im going to leave this Party as an Independent!

If this mad moron becomes the nominee, I figure the repubs have shot their last bolt and have nothing else to offer. I'll write trump in and say screw the party from now on.

In the latest CBS poll Trump's at 42%, Cruz at 29% and Kasich's at 18%... Maybe Kasich can't do simple math...

Initially, I did not care for Trump, I was a Cruz supporter. But with Cruz, as with the Democrat Party, the more I learned about both, the less I liked them. Then I saw that Trump had all the right enemies, including those such as you. They also hate people who believe as I believe. As far as I am concerned, you can vote for whomever you please. But, just for old time’s sake, name 5 ways that Trump will destroy the Country. I voted for Mc Cain, Romney, and Rubio until I learned my lesson. Your Republicans have fooled me enough. If Trump fools me, who cares? He won’t be getting a virgin.

Deportations of illegals are now "felonious" acts?

Top shelf herb you got from Willie, I am sure. Don't bogart the blunt, dude. Pass it around.

Knowing how the Republican Party operates, he has at least a 50-50 chance of being the nominee.

The case against John Kasich, at least as a republican:

- Kasich voted for the “Assault” Weapons Ban. https://grabien.com/file.php?id=53463 and as of last year did not regret that vote

- Kasich supported and implemented Obamacare’s Medicare expansion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kasich-bible-medicaid_us_56140a54e4b022a4ce5fb1e3

- Kasich supports Amnesty for illegals. http://www.ontheissues.org/John_Kasich.htm

- Kasich dismissively said Christian bakers should “bake the cupcake” and participate in a gay parody of the sacrament of marriage, even if it violates their religious beliefs. https://www.frcaction.org/updatearticle/20160225/kasich-pushes

- Kasich supports Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kasich-id-consider-nominating-merrick-garland-supreme-court-election-2016/

End of discussion. Those are not old views or comments taken out of context; they are Kasich’s current and consistent positions.

Please detail what it is the "leftists" want and how Trump will deliver.

You make the claims, now put down the facts and the details.

Put down the blunt, though. Makes seeing the screen and typing a bit easier.
