During Wednesday night’s live broadcast of the Cruz family Town Hall on CNN, one of the daughters of Texas Senator Ted Cruz seems to have let it slip that there is video of her father in a bizarre wardrobe choice that his PR team is almost certainly tracking down as we speak.
The Republican candidate for President and his wife Heidi were joined by their two daughters on stage with Anderson Cooper during a late portion of the broadcast. In keeping with the Town Halls this week, which were often focused on more personal elements of the candidates and their families, Cruz discussed a recent Daddy-Daughter picnic at school. To demonstrate some of the everyday goofiness in his role as Father in Chief, Cruz relayed a harmless story of fatherly dress-up.
“She got to dress up Daddy in a pink boa and these like, big goofy-looking underwear…” explained the Texas Senator.

Agree. The detail that stuck in my mind was Cruz saying he had to chase his daughters around and "tackle" them to get a kiss from them.
Cruz: "To get a hug and a kiss from the girls I usually have to do about four laps of the living room – one will go one way and the one other way and I have to tackle them,' he said. 'They mostly get their goodnight kiss hanging upside down.'"
I think maybe you meant to write, Cool. Another Anti-Cruz jerk circle. When are people going to stop posting the most asinine , crap(there is no other word) they can find on Cruz andTrump for no purpose other than to slime them? It serves no purpose other than mental masturbation for the faithful, it will never bring anyone to support their candidate but will probably do a lot to keep some people from voting for the other guy if he is the nominee. I'm getting very concerned with the way some on FR have taken their adoration of their chosen to the level of religious worship, very much as the democrats did with Lord Foul.

Look, I thought the story about Cruz’ daughter dressing him up in a boa and shorts was a rather silly thing to dwell on.
I see nothing wrong with that- as long as he was covered and nothing inappropriate went on.
But she was probably coaxed to bring it up to try to ‘humanize’ him- which is an exercise in futility
If one of his daughters made a remark in public, (as someone said) about Donald like, ‘man/woman with orange hair’, she was plainly coaxed to say this, and that’s one more dirty Cruz trick.
When Cruzbots start running down Donald’s looks, that gets the ire up.
I’m not the one who started this, but I sure as heck don’t intend for those slurs on Donald’s looks to pass without defending him.
There is nothing wrong with Donald’s hair. He has greatly modified it lately by cutting it shorter- and it is not orange or fake. It is obviously color treated (many men in the public eye do this) and it appears to vary at times from light blond to a blond/grey mix. It is not orange.
And speaking of hair; how ugly is Cruz’ oily hair with the little bald spot that he tries so hard to keep combed over?
I do wish Donald’s handlers would stop with the under eye concealer and what appears at times to be a spray tan.
He doesn’t need it. He has nice regular features and a wonderful smile.
He is still an attractive man at his age, while Cruz is not and never was.
He’s witty, funny, personable, likable and charismatic- attributes of which none are possessed by Cruz.
As for Cruz, nothing could possible help him. He has very unattractive features and a persona to match.
He comes off as a slimy thug.
So, Ted’s Daughter once dressed him up like Cooper’s “partner” dresses Anderson up every night?
Why is this a story?
These people are starting to make "the Establishment" look good by comparison. Sickening.
I'm going to have to promise myself not to read FR for a week or two before the election, because if I do, the desire not to vote for the nominee out of sheer spite for his supporters here might lead me to just leave blank that spot on the ballot.
What they'll do is make it a penalty -- if they know you have guns and you don't turn them in, they won't come to your house and provoke a confrontation. They'll just use the IRS or some other mechanism to sweep your accounts. Turn in your guns, or feed your family.
That's why the leftist claim that "nobody is going to come to your house to collect your guns" is irrelevant. There are other ways to force (or at least very strongly encourage) compliance.
...and dry up ammunition supplies driving up the cost.
If Hillary gets in, or if we lose the Senate (even if we elect a Republican), the Second Amendment will be gone within 3 years.

I dunno. I don’t even know if Trump would build the wall as stated. He will be up against enormous opposition. Likely have many lawsuits filed, judges issuing injunctions halting construction and the wall getting tied up in the courts for years.
If Cruz ends up with the nomination, folks better put all this behind them or there will be more dark days ahead for America.
No one is perfect. We all make mistakes. It is about coming together.

Thing is, I’m never going to be faced with that question for real, although it appears the Cruzers will be before the month is out.
If you want coming together, Cruz needs to quit the race and get behind the leader. Trump.
Otherwise that ain’t going to happen.
