Have you noticed how many female reporters there are, and how practically all of them are gorgeous? Goes to show that with television, it’s all about the picture.
Ever noticed how, when they do medical stories, there are lots of pictures of needles, test tubes, gurneys, etc. that have nothing to do with the story, or when they do financial stories there’s the printing press turning out money, etc.
Short dresses, sitting on too-high chairs, wearing knock-me-down stilettos, bare-armed, even in the dead of winter.
It’s all done to draw male viewers.
Can you imagine the male reporters, wearing wife-beater tees, all muscled up, in jogging shorts?
