Trump thinking would take a businessman who directs his business finances in accordance and in compliance with the intent of all the tax codes, and they would label him a cheat for living by ‘loopholes’ when he itemizes his taxes.

When Cruz simply looks at the rules, and plays by the rules to win, they label him a thief, because he happens to win in some forums when he lives by the rules, instead of calling Trump a liar.

AM I a Cruz advocate? Not really, but I really don’t care for the methods the Trump supporters advocate in opposing Cruz.

What you are forgetting is this; this is dishonorable because it is thwarting the will of the people who cast their ballots in good faith, expecting their votes to go toward the election of the candidate of their choice at the convention. This is supposed to be a representative republic. Cruz is clearly demonstrating that he does not believe in this ideal. Cruz’ whole campaign is based on the idea that he is the candidate who seeks to uphold and restore the constitution of this representative republic, but in practice he is not. This primary is not supposed to be about Cruz and Trump, and who is the most clever at manipulating the rules to make himself the the winner; it is supposed to be about the people and who the people choose. The one who the most people choose is the winner! The person who does not win the most votes of the people is the loser and if he steals the votes, via the delegates, of the winner, then he is the usurper, the cheater, the illegitimate fraud who has betrayed the people! A man of dishonor, a Benedict Arnold!

And if the rules are such that they can be gamed, and the people’s choice is then cheated by the loser, then the rules are immoral and wrong; they must be changed — at the very least, lots and lots and lots of nonstop “whining” is required by the one who has been chosen by the people on behalf of the people who have been cheated and betrayed. It is the people whose rights must respected, not Cruz’ and not Trump’s rights! Your rights!

What is the matter with you Cruz people, where are your moral compasses, why can’t you see past your delight in your “win.” Why can’t you see that you too have been robbed and cheated and betrayed? It is such a Pyrrhic victory, the cost for this potential Cruz nomination is so great! (However, I think that you will find that you too will be betrayed, and all of this present rejoicing and crowing over Trump voters will end up you with eating a lot of crow as you see Bush/Romney/Ryan/Rubio/Kasich/Graham? walk away with the nomination.) Still you are helping to sell the soul of our country and of our party for even less than a mess of pottage!

Cruz misses the spirit of the primaries, to let the voters decide, not the insiders.

When he has been mathematically eliminated he should stop running, not plan convention fights.
