A friend of mine commented how African-Americans had so much hate. She lived next door to a Nigerian couple, who made the same comment. They didn't relate to American blacks at all.
I had a Nigerian guy tell me the same thing.
Non-american black people around the world laugh at and/or despise "typical" American black people.
I got to work with some Haitian immigrants in Boston years ago, and they were open about their contempt for urban American blacks. These guys worked their tails off, had successful businesses and kept their kids in line.
I once overheard some of these Haitians being accused of “gaming the system” by some native blacks. I guess that’s what hard work and raising your kids right is considered now, “gaming the system.”
