“Wisconsin is a lot of things, but “nice” is not one of them”......
Obviously you know NOTHING about the good people of Wisconsin. You have judged the entire population of our state by a group of people from Milwaukee and Madison. NEVER ever judge all of Wisconsin by those groups. There are one hell of a lot of good, no, great people, some even living in those cites, who want nothing to do with liberals who infested those two communist territories. So apologize to those of us who are not part of that crowd.
You are overreacting to Ann Coulter, who is obviously speaking in the context of politics, and who is habitually histrionic in style.
All (all!) of my people come from Wisconsin. I am very well acquainted with the state, and with its corrosive effect on our nation.
Would you be similarly outraged on behalf of the staunch conservatives in Orange County or Fresno County of California (I doubt it), or would you be reasonably understanding when people of other states categorically and harshly denounce California, both socially and politically?
The truth is that the decent, conservative people of Wisconsin and California have allowed their states to be completely subverted by de facto communists; they therefore deserve some of the blame.
To a lesser degree, conservatives throughout America deserve the blame for our country’s state: While leftists are eternally aggressive, we have been consistently passive, and have allowed them to take over all institutions.
The bottom line is: Wisconsin has been a communistic force in this nation much longer than California.
