>And yet there was never a single person to come forward and state that they changed their vote from Carson to Cruz because of that...

Don’t try to feed me that crap. Cruz wouldn’t have blasted messages to his entire campaign to lie to the voters at the cacuases if it didn’t benifit him.

So which is it, did Ted lie because he’s a media dupe who can’t be bothered to ask Carson before having his staff lie to everyone that he dropped for no gain or a calculated dirty trick that put him over the top in Iowa?

Same Cruz plan in Cali as elsewhere. From the Washington Post, 4/11/16. This is Cruz's ground game, or "courting" of delegates:

Under regulations established in the 1980s, delegates cannot take money from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors or foreign nationals. But an individual donor is permitted to give a delegate unlimited sums to support his or her efforts to get selected to go to the convention, including money to defray the costs of travel and lodging.

There are Iowa FReeper comments about their experiences at the Iowa caucuses in FR’s Iowa Forum, accessed through ‘Account’ > ‘My Locale’ > ‘Iowa’

And what evidence do you have that the Cruz campaign did that? Or are you just making wild unsubstantiated allegations, as seems to be the norm for Trump supporters?

I understand what you’re saying.

There was a clarification by the congress a short time after the constitution was ratified, that stated the understanding was one parent, the father.

Recent court hearings have held the father and mother equal in that respect.

Well, Mr Red Wulf Liar extrodinaire, Ted Cruz has never told his campaign to lie.

The whole issue was deliberately created by Carson himself. He told his manager that he was quitting and going home. His manager spread the story, including to CNN.

That led everyone to believe that he was gone for good, and it made sense to the Cruz campaign, since Carson’s people had approached Cruz about covering Carson’s campaign debt.

Obviously Carson is 100% schemer, just like Trump.

I see now that you are a scheming liar like most of the Trumpers here.

Trump has never had any position on anything in this election that he didn’t get directly from Ted Cruz.

Hillary Stalking Horse.

So Ted didn’t have his campaign send messages to let people know Ben Carson was dropped out?

Doofus, nothing that happened as a result of Carson’s trick was a lie by anyone but Carson.

Later Trump also lied profusely about it, but that was after all the facts were known, so Trump’s lies cannot be shoved off on Carson.

I think you are quite delusional.

And Cruz became a 'fair trade' guy after supporting 'free trade' and voting to give Obama fast track authority.

“Say goodbye to the Republican Party. Not only will everyone despise the party, only diehard Cruz supporters will vote for him in the General. He couldn’t win anyway, it will only mean Hillary will win by a landslide.”

I think you’re delusional.

The only slight problem for Cruz is a few percent of “Never Cruz” Trump supporters, otherwise known as “useful idiots” for the Dems. 70% or more of the electorate is anti-Trump, and there are many more “Never Trump” folks than “Never Cruz” folks.

I suggest that Trump supporters suck up their egos if Trump is not the nominee, and vote for the not-Dem. The Supreme Court nomination alone is too important to allow a Dem victory. It will dramatically affect the country not for just four years, but more like forty years. There’s a very good chance that the next President will select multiple SC justices.

Do the right thing for your country, just as I will if Trump is the nominee instead of the better man, Cruz.

“And yet there was never a single person to come forward and state that they changed their vote from Carson to Cruz because of that... Nice try, but it won’t wash - that is just more Trump whining. Every time he loses, he claims someone cheated. “

Someone earlier in the thread compared Cruz supporters to schoolchildren.

The ironic thing is that Trump himself constantly behaves in a childish manner. His personality is not what we need in the Oval Office. That is the worst issue with his candidacy.

It would be much better with an adult as President. There is credibility to the idea that a Trump presidency could ruin the Republican brand forever. At this point, though, I’m about ready to scuttle the outdated and ineffective two-party system.

Trump wins with voters. Trump has had 500 million dollars of negative ads against him. No other candidate has had that. The media especially Fox News is against trump. And yet trump is winning. Not bad for a complete political outsider.

Cruz freaks shut their mouths after New York? That won’t happen. They will say trump should have done better no matter where he finishes. There will be Trump candidate obituaries for six days saying how horrible trump did in New York and how Cruz hung in there with 14 percent. He’s the only one who has beat trump afterall...lol.
