There are already laws on the books to address most if not all of that. It is actually illegal to help a person here illegally in any way- laws concerning that have just not been enforced. The law is very clear that it is illegal to hire illegals, and the penalties are huge, but that is seldom enforced.

If we strictly enforce the laws we have now, it would be far easier to see which laws need to be changed and how they would need to be changed.

We actually have quite strict laws concerning illegals and other border issues. Step one should be to enforce what we have.

As far as funding, there has been and continues to be a ton of money for Border Patrol and other agencies that deal with the border. The problem has been how it is being spent.

We have plenty of laws, money, manpower to deal with border issues and illegals now. We need to work with what we have, aim everything toward enforcement and then go from there to see what we need to continue.

We have a Mish mash of laws which allow the current state. That’s been done on purpose.
