Rules sometimes are not constitutional. One man one vote depends on getting your voting rights recognized. In this case it was the intent to subvert the Constitutions 1st amendment. Voting is political free speech, it voices our opinion in this USA Representative democracy, on who shall represent us, and lead our country. Cruz says he is a Constitutionalist, be he has shown how he would rather eliminate voting and steal votes, ballot stuff, and lie about Nice Do Carson dropping out of the race.

I think Trump will in the end have won 66% or 2/3 of the states in a 17 person contest. What kind of rules can deny millions of votes and the overwhelming preponderance of won states.
