I don't support Trump for the nomination. I do support him if he's the nominee.

But wholly apart from that, not all of us are driven only by our biases. Some of us just like to discuss stuff, and can admire good tactics and condemn poor ones, regardless of how we feel about the individual candidate.

Honest question -- do you think Trump saying that the Republican Party is a bunch of cheaters and liars will help him get to 1237, and will help him get the support of other Republicans if he is the nominee?

Honest question...as opposed to? ;-)

It could. I believe conservatives are slow but deep in their anger, and this has been building a long time. Start with George (Read my lips! No new taxes!) Bush. Then Bob (Tax collector for the welfare state) Dole. George (We're not going to engage in nation building) Bush. John (This is an election year, so I'm a conservative) McCain. Last but not least, Mitt (The grandfather of Obamacare) Romney...all 'electable,' if we would just hold our noses and vote for them.

The House and Senate forgot who sent them there, so they lost both houses. They came back slowly "If you elect a Repub House, we'll stop Obama..." well, not so much.

"If we have the Senate also, we will stop Obama/Obamacare in his tracks." Of course, not before McConnell pledged to not shut down the government . Boehner was driven from his leadership position just in time for his replacement to give Obama everything he asked for. Still no budget.

Now we're told we won't be choosing the nominee; the party does. I honestly don't know how politicians can be as tone deaf as they seemingly are.

They created their Trumpenstein monster. They seemingly remove their foot from their mouths only to insert the other. They've declared war on their front runner, seemingly in contradiction of the principles they claim to hold. We hear whining about Trump receiving a disproportionate share of delegates compared to the actual vote...but the party seemingly has no problem with Cruz receiving 100% of the delegates with NO vote.

The party is pouring gasoline on the fire, so you tell me...how big will the fire get?

I think the ‘republican’ party should have thought about those very things, over the last few years.

Not sure if you somehow missed it, but I recall being called wacko bird, stupid, clingers and other various names.

Sorry, your ‘concern’ is misplaced. If I had the desire to revisit the past, I’d list the other names we’ve been called...oh wait, here’s one I remember, being called stupid, for not supporting the GOPe choice -

Your argument is lame.
