To get GOPers (of all stripes) fighting among one-another, splitting the conservative vote, and to ensure a DEM victory.
(Not just in 2016. One suspects that he likes doing the Perot thing, and will continue spreading internecine hatred and toxic feuding for at least 4 more.)
For what purpose? He has a lot of money, time and effort invested at this point.
It isn’t Trump who is dividing the GOP votes, it is Cruz, who now is simply running to stop Trump and have a convention fight.
