There are a couple states that don't have any primary, and the rules for choosing delegates to the convention CAN work out in a reasonably fair way in those states too.
Technically, the "disenfranchisement" in Colorado (and there is "disenfranchisement" in FL too, winner take all, etc.) isn't because the voters aren't consulted, it's because a relatively small number of people controlling the rules and the process, bent the rules and process in favor of the candidate they prefer. There ought to be some blowback over that.
I think it is great that the over-reaching by a handful of zealots in Colorado is splattering crap all over the RNC too.
I agree with you, by the way. The optics of this, whether technically accurate or not, are benefiting Trump. And if the meme "by the rules" does catch hold, Trump has a fallback of actually looking at the rules, and showing examples of how they were NOT followed. Manafort claims that delegate objections will be filed, and the only way these have any traction is through a claim that the rules were not followed.
