If it is not too late, and I think it is not, absolutely. Trump is the front runner at this point and can get to 1237. If Trump had brought in a more seasoned campaign team a bit earlier I think this thing is long sewn up by now.
I support Cruz but can see how and why he simply has not generated the energy that the Trump campaign has. If these two guys can make peace after the nomination is sewn up, then I think despite what the polls are telling us, they can defeat Hillary.
Sure he could have but he's lost delegates because his "smartest people" have proved to be incompetent. Arrogance and attacks on conservatives didn't help either. And as I type this, his son is on the news saying "we didn't understand how the process worked"...explaining why Trump's kids won't be able to vote for him in the NY primary.
