The biggest losers in this are the rabid Cruz and Trump supporters who apparently hate the other far more than they like their own choice.

They don’t realize it but they are doing exactly what the establishment and the democrats want them to be doing. They are going to take out both candidates or at least get themselves so polarized they guarantee no republican will have enough support to win the general.

Whoever is nominated will absolutely need the votes from the other’s supporters to win, and at this point they will never get them. The nomination will be a Pyrrhic victory.

Exactly. Trump will need the 30% of republican voters who prefer Cruz. Or Cruz will need the 40% of republican voters who prefer Trump. Either one will be better off with the 10% of republican voters who prefer Kasich (good luck on that, since Kasich agrees far more with Hillary than with republicans). I'd like to see a pro-gun, anti-Amnesty, anti-Obamacare candidate win in November, but the venom is reducing our chance of meeting that goal.

That is exactly the way I see it, but have avoided getting involved in the cat fights. It has been getting nastier by the month :\
