From my research and understanding, Mr. Manafort manages delegate negotiations and other convention duties for republican candidates. He really has nothing to do with presidential campaigns when the general election begins.

Last I heard Trump is leading in Indiana, Nebraska, and West Virginia. Haven’t seen any recent polling in WA or OR,

Cruz is likely to win all of these states convincingly, with the exception of WV -- where Trump will lead.
