VALUABLE LESSON #1: You absolutely never, ever, ever approach a cop when you have a gun in your hand, or you might get shot.
VALUABLE LESSON #2: If your friends are @$$holes who act like @$$holes, you need to get new friends.
VALUABLE LESSON #3: If you live in a dangerous place, work hard without stopping, and get the hell out.
These three truisms have served me well. Of course, I guess they are just meaningless cultural remnants of my inferior Western Culture heritage. Because Inner City Culture is SO superior, and works out so well.
It has NOTHING to do with the color of your skin. If your Culture praises drugs and violence, your culture is broken. If your culture looks up to morons whose only skill is cleverly rhyming the word "Hoe", your culture is broken. If your culture makes EXCUSES for raising man-boys who know nothing of responsibility, and fathers dozens of kids that my taxes have to raise, your culture is broken. If your faux-pastors spend more time blaming "white devils" than condemning sinful and bad behavior, your culture is broken. And if your only response to my pointing these things out is I am a racist...your culture is broken.
Good Lord, you guys invented the Blues, Jazz, Rock and Roll and all you have done for thirty years is proclaim your best role models as being "too white" when they work hard and get good jobs. Shape up! And how smart do you have to be to know only a moron walks up to a COP holding a gun?
He was just starting to turn his life around.
He be joining the Trayvon Club.
You have struck the nail smartly on the head.
It is not about race. It is about culture.
“From the Dindu Nuffins tribe?”
No, I think they’re ‘Gibsmedats’ in Chicago.
Where did he get all the money for repeated new outfits, a computer, and watches? As a white kid growing up in genteel poverty in a south suburb of Chicago in the 1950’s I never had the money for all that stuff. OTOH, if I had that much money my parents would have probably called the cops to find out where it came from.
