"Did she or did she not renounce her US citizenship"...
If she did, it would be in the archives of the State Department, and there would be no way it could be kept secret.

"Well, then doesn't it warrant a closer look?" The RATs would already have this information, ready to fire off a lawsuit.

It seems pretty obvious to me that she did not renounce her citizenship.

Really? Then how was she able to vote in Canada?

"Are you implying someone can go traipsing around the world, becoming a citizen here and there, and then just come back to the US, and everything is fine...welcome home citizen, good to have you back?"...
Pretty Much. Unless you have formerly sworn allegiance to another nation

Well, isn't that what happens when you become a citizen of a country? Again, how was she able to vote in Canada?

She could have been the world's worst man-crazed whore, but it makes no difference as to the law regarding her child's citizenship.

It does if she changed nationalities (and husbands) like you change your shorts. If she were a Canadian, or British subject at the time, Baby Ted isn't even a US citizen.

So why should we discuss her character?

Well, we discussed the character of Clinton's mother, Obama's mother, anchor-baby Rubio's parents, Kasich's parents. People get their behavioral traits through training from their parents.

Besides....it's fun!

Everyone would already have that information. Do you think Trump would have let such a thing go? Political campaigns hire opposition research agents, and I assure you that had any such thing existed, Trump's opposition research agents would have already notified Trump about it.

Really? Then how was she able to vote in Canada?

Am I supposed to give a crap about Canadian voting laws? Do Canadian voting laws override US Citizenship laws? For all I know, either Canada doesn't care whether you are a citizen or not, or she voted illegally. Either way, it doesn't make a hill of beans difference.

I'm not going to bother with the rest of your message. It isn't worth the trouble to answer it.

When a person renounces United States citizenship a Certificate of Loss of Nationality is issued.

That is a public record and anyone can gain access to that record via a Freedom of Information Act request.

Updates:
New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno has accepted and approved Administrative Law Judge Jeff Masin’s opinion that Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen and thus eligible for the New Jersey primary ballot. The plaintiff has the option of appealing the Lieutenant Governor’s decision to the New Jersey Superior Court.

U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Texas Gray Hampton Miller, a George W. Bush appointee, has dismissed with prejudice (can’t be refiled) the lawsuit of Houston attorney Boris Schwartz. Judge Miller ruled that Mr. Schwartz did not have standing to bring suit against Senator Cruz.

Cruz’s lawyer, Layne Kruse, argued Wednesday that Schwartz had no legal standing to raise the legal question. He told the judge that questions about a candidate’s eligibility for office are the purview of the electoral college and the legislative wing of government, not the judiciary. And he said that Schwartz did not have a cause of action because there was no evidence of direct harm to him from Cruz being on the ballot.
