Trump -- 1,077,221-- 45.7%
Rubio -- 636,653-- 27.0%
Cruz -- 403,640-- 17.1%
Kasich -- 159,412-- 6.8%
Arguably, Trump's most impressive win in a vital battleground state. He beat Rubio in his home state by over 400,000 votes and Cruz by 670,000 votes.
If it had been any other candidate with such a win, the primaries would have been over by now. After McCain won FL in 2008 he was declared the putative nominee with only 33% of the vote. Romney suspended his campaign after FL. The GOPe wants to stop Trump at all costs from reaching 1,237. Cruz is their last best hope to do that, which is why the GOPe donor class is flooding Cruz with funds for more attack ads against Trump. Cruz will not be the nominee, at least for President.
Keep underestimating Ted Cruz, that’s how he got THIS far, folks underestimating him.
Ted is using the GOP-e more than they are using him and when he wins the party is going to be “reformed.”
Yeah yeah, some say I’m dreaming but I haven’t drunk the Trump-aid.
