it seems that many who are stuck on whether or not Trump has asked the God of the Christian Bible for forgiveness had no problem in 2012 voting for the Mormon Romney with his many Mormon gods, who not only has never asked God for forgiveness, he doesn’t believe in the Christian God nor the Christian Bible...After voting for the last phony conservative (Romney) I promised myself I would never do it again. While I would prefer to vote for a Christian conservative it is not a prerequisite.
In Trump's case his lack of understanding The Gospel didn't cause me to decide to never vote for him, but it did cause me to begin reevaluating whether I could vote for him at all.

The only president in my lifetime who understood the gospel was Jimmy carter, but it turns out he walked away from that understanding.
