It pretty much does in my view. Making it difficult for the regular, non party hack people to decide is what, if it is not undemocratic?

No offense, but you sound like a democrat complaining about voter ID laws. Apples and oranges, maybe, but the complaint sounds the same. "Disenfranchisement!"

It sure is un-Democrat-ic to keep people NOT IN the party from voting for the nominee OF that party.

Why does any non-party member think they have some sort of “right” to be a part of a partisan nominating process?
