Could Trump go with the Libertarian party? I am not sure how that would work? Get on their ballot perhaps? Or just campaign for them?

Heck yes. I have always held a soft point for the Libertarians.

They’ve been a bit soft on some subjects, so I have never actually supported them, but I think Trump would not be too soft on those issues. :D

No, they nominate at their convention in May and it can’t be a candidate running in another party’s presidential primary. To get ballot access in all 50 states would be extremely difficult.
