Ted Cruz mocked Donald Trump for "a lot of whining" and "cursing" over losing delegates to the Texas senator on the campaign trail.
Cruz told a California crowd he won "11 elections" in the past three weeks and said Trump has been beside himself ever since. The senator picked up scores of delegates in Colorado this weekend, which prompted Trump to deliver an indignant response on Twitter questioning the nominating process of the Centennial State.
"Now in response, Donald has been yelling and screaming, a lot of whining, I'm sure some cursing, and some late-night fever-tweeting. All the characteristics, I would note, we would want of a commander in chief," Cruz said on the trail in California. "And the latest thing he's seized upon is when people vote against him, they're stealing the election. It's a really odd notion. 'Well what is this democracy of which you speak? Wait, wait you mean voters get to vote? No, no, no. No, no, no.'"
Cruz went on to tout the importance of the upcoming Golden State nominating contest, and said it would determine the outcome of the entire GOP primary.
"I'm going to say a sentence that has not been said in 50 years. California is going to decide the Republican nomination for the presidency," Cruz said.
The California primary's 172 delegates will be up for grabs on June 7. Cruz is campaigning in the Golden State this week, and is making stops in Irvine and San Diego on Monday.
In every other state delegates were based on actual votes. Those numbers are very easy to find. All I’m asking for is the actual vote counts for Cruz Kasich and Trump for a tally sheet.
No one seems to know. Why is this so hard? Seems like something shady is going on. Weird.
Did you see the problems people are having answering my simple question; How many votes did Cruz, Kasich, and Trump each get in Colorado??
Why are delegates voting for delegates? They’re going to need to be clearer than that if they want to make a point.
Hay you might know; How many votes did Cruz, Kasich and Trump each get in Colorado??
No one seems to know.
Yes! just sit down and do as you are told like a good little communist. The party loves you and will select top men as your party leaders. And we will hold a referendum on our choice so we will know if there is any dissent.
Do you mean delegates or votes from the people who weren’t given a vote?
I didn’t get a vote.
GOP sneakily cancelled the primary and kept it so quiet that almost nobody knew.
You may want to check your facts.
Name-calling is a good way to avoid facing unpleasant truths. Fact is that Trump has to gather a majority of the votes on the first ballot. He is free to contest the ballots of ANY state delegation if he thinks he has been dealt with unfairly. If he has enough friends on the committee that decides, he can win there. IAC, not since 1976 has a convention functioned the way every other Republican convention back to 1856 functioned. That means that few among the average voter under the age of 60 knows that. Not many on this forum, apparently
Votes from the people. How many did Cruz, Kasich and Trump get?? Like in other states.
You are in Colorado and didn’t get to vote??
So the CO GOP Ba'athists an kites Cruz. As it was unanimous no one needed to shot for disloyalty.
Yes.
People voted in other states right? Did people vote in Colorado?? Surely they did, and surely there are vote counts for Cruz, Kasich and Trump. That’s what I’m looking for, the actual numbers who voted for Cruz, Kasich and Trump in Colorado.
Do you know what they were?
No one in Colorado got to vote?? Are you kidding??
The casual voter who has been exactly no time outside the voting booth working for a party candidate ought to have no more say that the party rules allow.
Anoints - spell check!?!?
Geese - anoits.

Exactly what principle has he violated? Why does Trump deserve your support when he chose not to spend time and money in Colorado? I read a lot of fuming against the MSM, but the irony is that Trump owes everything to the publicity he has got from the MSM. Just look at the number of minutes devoted to Trump during the last 8 months compared with those devoted top the other candidates. That exposure would have cost him fifty million dollars if he had had to pay for it. The media gave us Barry Obama. It may give us Trump as the Republican candidate or President. It may also give us President Hillary.
