My sister was born to 2 Canadian citizens in Washington during WW2. She was a dual citizen up until she was about to turn 21. She inquired of both governments what her options were. They both said the same thing. She could remain dual until she voted in on or the other country. The county she chose would be the country of citizenship and the Dual citizen ship would be cancelled. She chose Canada.

Interesting the Cruz attorney didn’t argue the merit of the argument, but rather the standing of those making the complaints.

Trump should have standing, and stated months ago that he'd be doing everyone a big favor if he'd sue Cruz over his eligibility.

“Already had 2 other courts decide he IS eligible.”

And your point is? Are all court decisions okay with you?

Since this case is based on original intent of the constitution and not on case law it really doesn’t matter how the lower court rules. It is if the case is based on merit and not standing that moves it forward. Obamas cases did not have any decisions on merit. NO OTHER Candidates challenged him

Williams has placed himself as a write in. He has no doubt a classroom of students clerking his case for him It will be interesting

All decisions yeah or nay cannot be settled as in settled law until the SCOTUS rules.
No reason to even argue the lower court rulings They have no bearing on the eligibility
Just sit back and watch the show as it moves to higher courts

The law consistently states a child (singular) born of citizen parents (plural) is a natural born citizen.

Cruz’ argument is that he is a child (singular) born of a citizen parent (singular) claiming to be a natural-born citizen.

Good thing there was an autopsy. Oh..........

You know, when a relative died in a home, the autopsy was automatic. Which was just fine with me.

On “Forensics Files” (rebroadcast) a couple months ago, a 16-year-old girl, IN TEXAS, killed her 38-year-old father with a fake heart attack and the coroner missed the cause of death.

Then some liberal whines about her getting 27 years. How’s about the death penalty? Don’t worry folks, she got out after 10 years, changed her name, got married and is out there somewhere.

There will be constant court challenges to Cruz’s eligibility right up to election day.

If he becomes President, there will be ongoing challenges throughout his term(s) in office, along with attempts to get all laws signed by him and all orders given by him declared null and void due to his citizenship status.

All things that our side was prevented from doing due to “standing.” I am quite sure that argument will not be used to reject challenges to Cruz.

Our “justice is blind” court system at work.

The answer is no.

Cruz was born in Canada but BOTH his parents then and now are USA citizens. Hence, Cruz would not automatically qualify as a Canadian citizen.

This is great news, every time the Trump chumps lose in court, it is a boost for Cruz.

Cruz is a U.S. citizen, no doubt

How exactly do we know that ?

We do know he is a prevaricator.
