They got to vote for delegates. Delegates could be pledged to a candidate.

It’s indirect, but it’s still voting. Just like voting for electors in the presidential primary.

Was trump aware of how the primary works in Colorado? could he have done something to insure that his voters were represented? Don’t try to miscast his incompetence in that regard as theft by someone else, who knew the process and worked it to his advantage.

You're wrong about Colorado. All registered Republicans were eligible to vote for local delegates at 2995 different neighborhood elections.

Those local delegates then voted at county and state conventions for the final delegates.
