You can tell Gober is a lawyer because he doesn't say "I have nothing to do with the ad" or "I disown the ad," but instead says "I didn't create [it]". That's because someone in the advertising department of his SuperPac created it, not him directly. From the about page of that Superpac: "About our Founders"

Looks to me following your link that if one was to guess who made that commercial it would be the second person listed as founders. The one with credentials in knowing how to do it and possible motivation.

His resume backs up what I suggest 100% including the pro-homosexuality crapola.

I imagine the reason this was not pointed out by the article you posted is because he (Steslow) does not have any direct ties to Cruz. That hurts the narrative, because PACs can do what they want, but once connected it becomes something to rant about as a smear tactic.

Just because someone co-founded a PAC does not mean they direct every thing the PAC does. It does not mean that Ronald Steslow didn’t call the shots for this instead of Chris Gober.

Also, why did this article not mention the other founder of the group that did brag about the ad. Ron Steslow twitted about the ad personally. Chris Gober didn't. Odds are Ron Steslow had plenty to do with this ad, yet he doesn't fit the narrative (not tied in with Cruz personally).
