THAT happened to me. My laptop is still not quite right, but I did have to call Microsoft first, and them Microsoft directed to me to an outfit in Las Vegas that charged me $129 to fix it with a 30 day “call anytime guarantee,” or something like that.

That outfit has called back twice to check, so maybe they’re on the up and up.

Appreciate the help thanks very much I already have 3 guys that I call 3 IP guys one can’t do it the other gets the job done

Are you sure that was Microsoft? You might want to do a lookup on that number. Sounds like a standard ransomware scam. If you used a card to pay, you might want to cancel it.
