Without going into details, I ran into a pastor like that at a large church in the Midwest. He was running a huge “conference”. Introduced myself and got a similar reaction. Incredible. I was so stunned I fell into a similar loop.
Later when I looked at it objectively, I could see exactly what this dude was all about. I never forgot that. It was about 5 years ago (I’ve met or talked with many of these guys).
This one, however, was a stand-out. I’ve learned to be thankful for events like that; it clears up who is who right from the get-go.
Humans have an amazing ability to instantly detect BS in someone sometimes.
BTW, I love that stabby the clown. You need to trademark that.
