Nice Try.

I doubt Cruz would still be standing if the opposition had sent $500 million against him in advertising and had the entire media and establishment against him.

This is a testament to just how strong Trump is.

Trump is crushing it and will win the nomination by June. Hell! Hillary with just one candidate can’t get 50%.

These numbers show Trump is poised to kick the mess out of Cruz in CA.

Would Trump be where he is without the perhaps $Billion in free TV face time that he has had over the last 9 months? I don't think so. That knife cuts both ways and Trump has drawn some of the blood.

Trump also had about $2 billion of largely positive "free" media exposure. I don't begrudge him that. "Free" media in his case is truly earned media, and it is a strength of his that he can manipulate the media (great to be on the right side of THAT equation). But those opponents who don't have a 30 year established, well-defined identity have to do it on their own with advertising, social media and old school campaigning. If you think the $500 million is unfair, you really won't like what Hillary Clinton and company will be cooking up.

Point well taken. I have said all along that ANY candidate whose last name is not Bush can win the general if he is willing to take it to her. Cruz and Trump certainly would, I'm not sure about Kasich, who is highly unlikely to be a player.

The media gave Trump billions of free commercials.

If Cruz had received a fraction of that, Trump wouldn’t even be in the race.
