Sure thing. (eye roll)
Exactly, Canadian Cruz has el problemo. From the article:
If McConnell brought that resolution to the floor, how would the vote go? Democrats had an incentive to join with Republicans in 2008 to confirm McCains eligibility, partly because they didnt want to be seen as questioning the citizenship of kids born to military personnel abroad and partly because they knew itd discourage the GOP from attacking Obamas eligibility. Those incentives arent present with Cruz. You might get a bunch of Democrats (and a few Republicans, starting with Rand Paul) either voting no or present, which would give the issue even more momentum...
(And your reply, for the record:)
Cruz knows he is not eligible to hold the office of US president, but, Obama got away with it, with Republicans being willing accomplices... Cruz wants the same and thought he could get McConnell to put forth his special resolution..
Who knows if McConnell, got Cruz to carry some dirty legislation with an impression that McConnell just might lift the Constitutional requirement for Cruz... I do not for a minute think the liar accusation had one thing to do with banking issues.
Look who is hiding in plain sight, Obama. lord McCain was used like the tool for liberals that he is... A bunch of lawyers, passing perhaps, an unconstitutional resolution, given lord McCain has yet to show his birth certificate. Cruz knows Obama was not eligible, and Cruz demanded the Senate do for him what they did in name of lord McCain, that ultimately benefited Obama...
It was Trump that forced the Obama crew to produce a born in the USA birth certificate..for Obama.
Below are the lying liberals that played fast and loose with the Constitution... Funny thing ol Hillry got bit big time.. She will never learn..
Mrs. McCaskill (for herself, Mr. Leahy, Mr. Obama, Mr. Coburn, Mrs. Clinton, and Mr. Webb) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary April 24, 2008 Reported by Mr. Leahy, without amendment
Vitriolic discourse has always been part of politics:

This is nothing new. What is new is social media and the 24 hour news cycle, which amplifies the incivility.
Whether the party comes together will depend on what happens at the convention. If Trump voters feel disenfranchised, I think it will be a pyrrhic victory for Cruz. Many Trump supporters will sit home. Many others are saying they will revenge vote dem up and down the ticket. According to an unofficial source, the RNC has received almost one million postcards from the “no Trump, no vote” campaign. I don’t think Cruz will be able to overcome that in the general.
All the Trump supporter whining asside, if your football team were playing in the Superbowl, and one of your players fumbled the ball, and nobody on your team knew the rules of the game well enough to grab the damn ball, you can’t really bitch when the other team grabs the ball and runs it in for a TD.
I'm your huckleberry
I hope you'll are happy standing with Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Gram, Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, Nicky Haley, Golden Sachs, The Club for Growth and the entire globalist GOPe establishment. Oh Obama and Mexico our on your side now too, congrads.
You are traitors to the republic. Sellouts to the globalists, enemies to the Constitution of these United States. And Ted Cruz is a liar.
What magic lawyer words do you think Cruz will use to convince Trump voters in the general? The issue was exit polled for the first time in WI, and almost 60% of Rep voters felt that the candidate who went into the convention with a plurality of delegates should be the nominee. This,in a state Cruz won easily.
Tell me, how does Cruz win after he takes the nomination on a second, third, whatever ballot? Specifically, how does he realistically win back disenfranchised voters in 50-50 states like FL or VA?
I’ve asked this question of Cruz supporters a few times, and I either get back crickets or a fanboi answer like, “Cruz will win because he’s great!” No analysis, no substance, just mindless cheerleading.
Cheerleading isn’t going to get him those votes. Neither is “OMG, Hillary!” So, what’s the plan?
The elections are just theater and always have been. It is just now the mask is being taken off.
Votes don’t matter, delegates and electors do. We, the voters, don’t select those people we merely express our opinion to the party on what we would like. The Parties (or Party) makes the final selection.
Trump and Sanders have upset the order of things. Neither one will be allowed to be the nominee, and a good chunk of the American “voting” public is going to get very annoyed.
Heck of a year to cancel American Idol.
You want some more?
Cruz needs to overcome all these obstacles to win:
1. Deny Trump enough delegates to reach 1237.
2. Cajole, persuade, or bribe enough delegates to his side.
3. Convince the GOPe that he is their stooge rather than a Romney/Ryan.
4. Win every case the DNC files to DQ Ted as an unqualified candidate.
5. Halt speculation regarding his affairs with a transparent denial statement and explain the transfer of $500,000 of PAC money ten days after his alleged mistress’s departure from his office.
6. Win important key battleground states where he has lost very very badly.
7. Win all the Southern states where he has not been well received, especially FL.
8. Attack Hellary with a vengeance, something he is incapable of doing effectively.
9. Hide his wife’s role with CFR and her relationship to the Bushes & Goldman Sachs.
10. Hide the million dollar political campaign contributions his lawfirm made to liberals such as BHO & their ilk.
He has hired the best;

[It is sad that Sen. Goldman Cruz is more associated with
taking delegates from the People]
It’s called “The Art of the Deal.” That’s politics.
when/if cruz loses to Hillary, I’ll put 100% the blame on trumper non voters or who switch to vote D
you poor losers are like little children
Perhaps we should redo all the elections when it is down to 2 candidates, Trump has won 46%of the delegates while securing only 37% of votes he has benefitted from a process that favors front runners, so unfair.
Don’t you agree?
:D
It all adds up real good. Think about it.
American interests have been sold out by both parties for 25 years.
We’re already nearly gone, most just haven’t realized it- just yet.
Except this isn’t the superbowl, it’s the conference championship. The superbowl is in November. If Cruz pulls off a win through machinations, however legal, at the convention which disenfranchise millions of Rep primary voters, he’s going to go into the superbowl without part of his team. Now, how does he win?
He won’t be on the ballot. It will fall to Ryan or maybe someone else that is eligible and more likable. Some one not viewed as an extremist by the CC Republican party.
