No. The requirements for American citizenship are not the same or as rigorous as the requirements for being eligible to run for the presidency. In the latter case, BOTH parents must be naturalized American citizens at the time of the candidate’s birth. Cruz’s parents were NOT BOTH naturalized American citizens at the time of his birth. His father did not become a naturalized American citizen until 2005! Cruz was born in 1970. Sorry, that’s not gonna work.
Please site the law that leads you to believe that BOTH parents must be citizens in order to qualify as NBC. Here is a hint, you wont find one.
