The situation isn't the same, since Trump is the frontrunner and the Cruz voters have no reason not to vote for him.

Sure we do. Most of us do not want a petulant 5-year old that constantly throws temper tantrums, has the morals of mafia don or a streetwalker, and has no understanding of the Constitution or of the way our Constitutional Republic is supposed to operate to be the nominee of our party, or to be president of the country.

And we don’t want a lying, sneak who can’t win the primaries but has to do attempt to highjack the nomination by stealing delegates instead of winning them.

The point was that if Cruz won the majority, we would vote for him because that is the process.

Trump would be expected to drop out if he was in the same situation as Cruz is, not plan to win a convention fight by denying Cruz the majority.

Cruz is not a true conservative, because true conservatives look at the spirit of the laws and not the just their letters.
