A former Auschwitz guard has died days before his trial in Germany -- dashing the hopes of survivors who wanted to see justice for their dead parents.
Ernst Tremmel, who was 93, was a guard at the notorious Nazi concentration camp during the Second World War.
He was accused of 1,075 counts of accessory to murder, covering the time he worked at the camp from November 1942 to June 1943.

That's because you didn't suffer. Read Martin Gilbert's Holocaust so you can understand.

At this point, all of the Nazi leaders and really important people are dead already. However, the “nazi hunters” have to keep going after whoever is left alive in order to justify their jobs, even if that means going after someone who was a green kid drafted by his country and ordered to do a nasty job, with the alternative being a gunshot to the head for desertion during wartime.

But what does this say about the “victims and families” attitude towards God? God is the one who made the alleged killer cease to live, just like He will make the others cease to live some day.

Give me a break, we all know the Holocaust was horrible.
That doesn’t mean every kid who got drafted and sent to serve at Auschwitz was responsible. At this point, they’re just hounding people to justify their own salaries.

Good point about coercion factors. Are those weighed in? Sometimes the only we may know about them is from the accused himself, and then we have a conundrum.
There was a reason that Abraham Lincoln issued a blanket pardon to the South.

Why wasn't anyone associated with the camps prosecuted immediately following the war? Many of these people simply disappeared in the chaos that was end-of-war/post-war Germany.

I understand the suffering as well as anyone who didn't actually experience it can.
Prosecuting some 90 year old ex private who was assigned a job at the camp helps ease the suffering?

Um... Jesus’ life for mine? How do we know that was not accepted?
We scoff at a Savior in some cases, forgetting He is just as needful in our own, and that even concentration camp war crimes are not the unforgivable sin.

partially...he has gone to Hades to await the FINAL judgment (called the “Great White Throne” judgment)—the throwing into the lake of fire (a place prepared for the devil and his own), described in Revelation 20:11-15, which will occur after the Millennial Reign of Christ on this earth.

It's easy to confuse three forms of justice.
Divine justice and earthly justices are sometimes the same.
And any human forgiveness of the murderer or rapists should not negate any justice under the law.

It comes from unbelief. The Jews rejected Christ and now they are playing out a slavery to vengeance. Nobody else wanted it to be pressed to this extent.

They should dig him up and hang his body in a cage at the entrance into Auschwitz. Death to Nazis and Commies.

Can't get even a smidgen of outrage over this man's death. If you have a chance look up the case of John Demjanjuk a Cleveland area “ war criminal” and his epochal battle though the justice system of the USA , Israel and Germany. From witnesses testifying that yes this is Ivan the Terrible( 15 years after testifying that ANOTHER man was Ivan) to the blatant and criminal behavior of the FBI agents that had exculpatory evidence from the Russians 20 years before John's death AND ADMITTEDLY hid it from his attorneys. BTW those agents were never prosecuted.

How do you know where his soul is.
Maybe he was saved decades ago. And is now here as an example of suffering for Christ’s sake, at a request that is not being made by many others who had family in the camps.
