Were you asking the same questions when Cruz used the BLM protests to what he thought was his advantage? The fact is, this supports 2 of the main things Trump has been talking about. First, military personnel should be able to be armed on military bases. Second, if it does turn out to be a Muslim extremist, that’s obviously something Trump has been talking about non-stop. So yes, Trump should get out in front of this because it draws a clear cut distinction between himself and the rest of the candidates.
