Most of the American people have never served a day in uniform and don’t know a M-16 from an A-10, unlike many of the people here on FR who are vets. The senior leaders in the military are responsible for the current train wreck. It’s not a fantasy to expect the nation’s military leaders to have a conscience and moral courage.

This is not just about him and all the other flags, they are betraying the heritage that was entrusted to them from all of those that came before. You are correct he is under civilian leadership. These people are doing all they can to minimize our fighting effectiveness. This man is a Marine, all of this is happening on his watch. Are Matines still accountable for what happens or does not happen on their watch? I am ashamed of our top brass for not organizing to remove this traitor from office. There is enough evidence that him and his administration have committed high treason against the US and he and the people that "answer" to him do not need to remain in power. Our military commanders took an oath and they should uphold that oath. We others just need a leader to follow.
