Rush is more subtle about it but I have no doubt he’s in on the gravy train just like Erickson..

Even my husband who was one of Rush’s most loyal listeners finally saw the light and turned him off.

My DH hooked me to him when Slick Willie couldn’t keep his trousers up while in the oo. Since that time, I’ve listened off and on - most often during the election season or a gossipy scandal is in the wings. These days if he is heard it is more for white sound background noise. Some days he is turned off completely. Having often wondered what we would do without Rush, I have come to realize that having Rush is not so great after all. He has taken us down a path we might not have traveled had we walked it alone. Rather than the possibility of his choosing a replacement, now he is seen as ready for retirement. He has been solid in the past, but since marriage he has lost something. Smarts, strategy, wisdom? Sad when an Icon has fallen from his pedestal. Just unable to jump the hurdle with the NBC issue and his solid ‘conservatism’ The mind is just not able to think that way - at least this mind cannot.

It's the difference between a professional and an amateur.
