On March 10, Attorney Stephen Pidgeon, lead counsel for the North American Law Center sent a letter to Texas Secretary of State Carlos H. Cascos on behalf of a legal citizen and voter in Texas, as well as in the public interest of the nation, questioning if, when Cruz ran for, was elected and certified by the Texas Secretary of State as the new U.S. Senator representing the people of Texas, he was a legal citizen of Canada.
As of this writing, Pidgeon has not received a response.
Ted Cruz
Attached to his letter, Pidgeon provided a copy of Cruz's birth certificate indicating Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz, was born on Dec. 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
He also attached a copy of Cruz's Certificate of Renunciation of Canadian Citizenship, whereas Cruz "formally renounced Canadian citizenship and pursuant to the Citizenship Act will cease to be a citizen on May 14, 2014."
When Cruz was born on Dec. 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Canada didn't allow for dual citizenship, indicating Cruz was only a citizen of Canada.

That would make Trey Gowdy a Canadian also.
All of them, actually. Statutory law recognizes only government granted privileges - no pre-existing rights.
None.
the problem on the citizenship thing
Ted needs to be political friends or at least a political non threat......
with the same people we need Ted to be political enemies with and a political threat too
Trump has all the right enemies
Ted the Canadian can’t afford to have those same enemies
ABSOLUTE CRAP.
You birther nuts have no knowledge of the laws of Canada or the US.
that’s perfect .....they need to play The Dudley Do-Right theme whenever Ted Cruz comes in a room
This has been covered ad infinitum. Cruz got his U.S. citizenship in the 1980’s by his mother filing that form (I think it is called CRBA or something) while still in high school so he could attain a U.S. passport to go to Britain with his High School group. He would then still be a Canadian National in Canadian eyes, but would also be a U.S. citizen at that point. I agree he is a U.S. citizen...but he is NOT natural born as alluded to in the Constitution as being a requirement for Prez and V.P., and cannot run for President. AND he knows it, when he is always touting his Constitutional prowess, and is trying to pull an “Obama”.
tRumpsters have no knowledge of anything. They just make it up as they go, just like the Donald himself.
You do know a state court ruling on the constitutional issue is meaningless but for that State and only until a federal court rules on it.
(Mar. 27, 2016) At approximately 6:21 p.m. EDT, North American Law Center (NALC) lead attorney Stephen Pidgeon stated on the TNALC radio show that NALC has obtained intelligence and documentation from Canada showing that presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz was strictly a Canadian citizen throughout his life.
----
I watched Cruz closely for the slightest hint he was interested in the Presidency when he was running for Senator because I knew he couldn't possibly be anything other than a naturalized citizen.
Never for a single second did I entertain the thought he wasn't even a citizen at all. Had I known that, I would have voted for David Dewhurst.
The Proof is in the law that defines the Truth
1952 & 1965 Immigration & Nationality Acts that governed the status of Cruz's nationality at birth defined Raphael Edward Cruz as one who...
... entered the US at the age of 4 as a “non-quota” immigrant http://legislink.org/us/pl-82-414
Section 101 (a) (27) The term “nonquota immigrant” means (A) an immigrant who is the child or the spouse of a citizen of the United States;
PROCEDUKE FOR GRANTING NONQUOTA STATUS OR PREFERENCE BY REASON OF RELATIONSHIP
SEC. 205. (a) In the case of any alien claiming in his application for an immigrant visa to be entitled to a nonquota immigrant status under section 101 (a) (27) (A), or to a quota immigrant status under section 203 (a) (2) or 203 (a) (3), or to a preference under section 203 (a) (4), the consular officer shall not grant such status or preference until he has been authorized to do so as provided in this section. (b) Any citizen of the United States claiming that any immigrant is his spouse or child and that such immigrant is entitled to a nonquota immigrant status under section 101 (a) (27) (A)
And common law states that ONLY the children of citizen fathers are natural born children, all others are citizens by statute
blah, blah, blah
Seems like no knowledge is what you are.
“Trump has to grow up and get to policy and stop focusing on Cruz.”
Have you, by any chance, heard Cruz speak? He attacks Trump about once every other sentence.
So why won’t Ted release his CRBA? No big deal, right?
Ted’s status has not been covered at all though it should be.
Exactly. Right on mark.
“You birther nuts have no knowledge of the laws of Canada or the US.”
Good. You must have a copy of Cruz’s U.S. citizenship verification papers. Could you please release them on this cite. Cruz won’t release them.
Trump mentions Cruz very little in his rallies.
That is why Cruzbots are so delisional. LOL
Difference being...Gowdy doesn't have an sdt problem.
