A national political operative and Republican operative in New York familiar with the plans had originally said the meeting would be Thursday. But Thursday morning, Cruz’s campaign said that while he’s eager to see the former New York mayor and 2008 presidential candidate, a firm time is still in the air.
“We’ve been working to line up a meeting, but there’s nothing scheduled for today,” said Cruz spokesman Jason Miller.
It’s doubtful Cruz got even a measly 100 people in NY to hear him.
He’s used this trick before-—he co-opt an invite to a group meetig for an entirely different reason....than smirkingly announces they came to see him.
