Azealia Banks posted an apology letter to Sarah Palin on Tuesday after the former governor of Alaska announced plans to sue the rapper over her hate-fueled, profanity-laden Twitter rant.
Palin told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement that she will take legal action against Banks “on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning.”
“I’ve had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me,” Palin said of Banks’ NSFW social media suggestion that the former governor should be sexually assaulted. “So, for the first time I’m going to enjoy the only retribution some protected ‘celebrities’ seem to understand – I’m suing Azealia Banks and can’t wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long.”

I would forgive, and wouldn’t sue IF it was done out of negligence. This was done completely out of malice and I hope Sarah destroys this human waste.

Azealia has been ‘off the hook’ for years online. She’s like a young black ghetto version of Cher. Trash talkin all the time for attention. She should have gone into Big Time Wrestling. Even if Sarah decides not to go through with the lawsuit, I hope she draaaags out the procedure, over many long months and numerous mandatory courtroom appearances. Twist whatever you have that is close to a knife.

Agree with both your comments. As I said, I’d be hard pressed not to take action, if for no other reason than to send the message “you can not do/say anything you want and get away with it”. Too much of that kinda thing slides these days.......no responsibility / accountability.
