Obviously you haven’t paid attention to how this game is played and still see this in light of what’s happened in the last months...it’s at a different phase of the process, and one you need to get your head around in order to rightly see what’s happening ahead.

At this juncture it doesn’t matter what you or I think of the candidates.....the field has narrowed to Cruz and Trump...with Kasich as a place holder....which as you know changes things from where they were competing with all the other candidates. The game changes as well as it looks as convention will indeed be the next stop should Trump not get his delegate count beforehand...and most agree Cruz has to stop that otherwise Trump wins before convention.

Both candidates will do what they have to and can do to win the primary now. You’ve used language that indicates for you it’s all about only who votes for Trump....and hitting at Cruz to win. That’s not all there is to this election which I’ve tried to explain and most understand at this juncture.

Further both candidates understand, as does the RNC leadership that there will always be a certain per-centage of voters who will refuse to vote in the general if their guy doesn’t win, which is figured into the equation long before the voters actually decide to or not. That’s also why each candidate needs to garner the GOP to support them along the way ...this cannot play without them though you;d prefer them not.

As for you ranting about Cruz.....I’m very much settled in and know his full history...as well as why he’s voted for or against many of the bills etc. before him. And also why he was opposed regardless.....

Nobody’s won an election by simply rallying the public around them....although it’s important of course that they do so....they must obtain the delegate count ‘required’ which the voters do get them if they pull that off.....popularity and emotional hoop-lah among voters isn’t all there is about an election....it is you and others who are “learning” about elections Fantasywriter, and good that you do. ...and whoever wins or loses for supporters....will get over it as they always do and we will then all see what the winner will do or not for the country.

My comments were about leadership. Cruz doesn’t have it. If he did, his list of Senate accomplishments would consist of more than, ‘Tried but failed.’

Were he a leader, voters would be flocking to him. He wouldn’t need to resort to voter shaming, passing along false info, lying ads, or other Jeff Roe specialties. He would simply emerge from the pack as the leader.

This happens to be true. Leadership is a quality people recognize and gravitate toward. It stands out. It’s compelling. It makes history.

Tell me honestly, what true leader can you cite who, out of a body of ninety-nine colleagues, couldn’t even get *one* to second his motion? Not even ONE.

I realize that many Cruz supporters believe something magical will happen if Ted makes it to the general. Someone will sprinkle pixie dust, and Cruz will transform into the kind of leader voters line up to support. That’s called Magical Thinking. It never ends well for those who resort to it.
