Cruz went into the heart of the NY City beast...’on purpose’....then Trump cancels 3 rallies in other states to secure his delegates in NY from the intruder on his turf............’Mission accomplished’...lolol....while Cruz is then free to secure the delegates in those very states Trump cancelled.
Cruz has been fortunate and appreciative of Trumps rallies as the media gets caught up in the drama....while he quietly and consistently has been working the delegate ground game behind all the hooplah.
Any place Cruz shows up is ‘strategically’ planned and orchestrated.
Cruz is not and has never been a leader. He led no one in the Senate; he merely grandstanded and saw his causes go down in flaming defeat.
In an election, a leader rallies the voters behind him. He wins at the ballot box. Cruz cannot do this; he’s the candidate people do NOT want to follow.
Cruz supporters think winning by any means is all that matters. If Cruz wins by backchannel ways, he and his supporters will learn the difference between that and rallying people behind you. Cruz still will not be a leader, and many voters will simply not turn out for him. He will be humiliated—like that time in the Senate when he couldn’t get even one colleague to second his motion.
Agree. Cruz is working for every delegate he can get and everyone matters at this stage.
Trump has never been in a campaign like this and does not have the leadership in place to run a campaign against Senator Cruz and it is showing by the way he is conducting himself. Holding these big rallies will be his down fall. He has to get in the trenches. Handing out free ball caps and Tshirt will not win votes
