It is a winner take most states. You get basically 14 for winning the state and then there is three points for each of the 27 districts.

I’ll be waiting with baited breath for you to show me the polling data on all 27 districts that backs up your statement.

Trump said so just a few weeks back. He’s winning in all the northern areas, and the southern areas are simply not Cruz territory.
However, New York has a 20% threshold to take ANY delegates, and Cruz is not there. Kasich is ahead of him.
And, NY has a ‘take all’ threshold of 50% and Trump is OVER 50%.
